Ellis -- Mary Agnes Lang-Wagner, 72, died Feb. 3 at Via Christi Regional Medical Center, St. Francis Campus in Wichita. She was born May 23, 1928, in Hays, the daughter of Ignatz and Regina Schoenberger Seidel.
She married Joe G. Lang June 4, 1946, in Ellis. He died Oct. 20, 1987. She married Paul Wagner March 22, 1990, in Ellis.
She was a 1946 graduate of Ellis High School. Mrs. Lang-Wagner was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church of Ellis, Daughters of Isabella, Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary, Sunflower Polka Club, Eagles Auxiliary of Hays and the Bukovina Society of the Americas.
Survivors include her husband of the home; six sons, Gerald Lang of Durham, N.H., Dr. Robert Lang of Bedford, Ind., Ernest Lang of Douglas, Wyo., Edward Al Lang of Sycamore, Ill., Brian Lang of Ness City and Clyde Lang of Ellis; four daughters, JoAnn Hohman of Wakefield, Marilyn Stueve of Olpe, Donna Scarbrough of Austin, Texas and Velma Jackman of Ronake, Texas; three step-children Dwayne Wagner of Great Bend, Ellen Prescott of Manhattan and Brenda Horton of Lindale, Texas; half-brother, Terry Barber of Great Bend; half-sister, Donna Ryder of Burrton; 27 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; four step-grandchildren; and two step great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one son, James Lang and one sister, Shirley Ann Seidel.
Eagles Auxiliary rosary will be at 4:30 today, followed by a parish rosary at 7 tonight, both at Wa-singer Funeral Chapel in Ellis. Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the church in Ellis with the Rev. Kevin Weber officiating. Burial will be at St. Mary's Cemetery in Ellis. Friends may call until 8 tonight at the funeral home.
Memorials are suggested to the church or the Bukovina Society of the Americas, in care of the chapel.
