COPENHAVER, Elmer Elsworth
Funeral services for Elmer Elsworth Copenhaver, 89, were held Sunday at the Roscoe Christian Church with interment in the Pleasant Springs cemetery under the direction of the Goodrich Funeral Home.
Mr. Copenhaver, the youngest son of Thomas and Emmaline Copenhaver, was born October 14, 1868, near Roscoe, and died at the Osceola Medical hospital on February 21.
He spent his entire life in and near Roscoe, except for a few years spent in Montana and other western states.
Immediate survivors are a half sister, Mrs. Laura Breeden, two half brothers, Staley and Roy Copenhaver, several nephews, nieces and cousins. -- Note: Pleasant Springs / Oyer cemetery record lists: Elmer Copenhaver, 1868 - 1958.
