Victoria Flores Diaz, born November 15, 1929 in Linares, Nuevo Leon, Mexico, passed away on Wednesday, May 11, 2011 in Wasco, California at the age of 81.
Victoria Flores Diaz was born to Pedro Flores and Luz Medina. Victoria married her loving husband Jesus M. Diaz in Mercedes, Texas in 1947 and settled in Wasco, California with her family in 1968. Victoria worked as a farmworker and was employed by Jackson & Perkins for several years and retired at the age of 62. Victoria enjoyed reading her bible, enjoyed bible studies with her family; she was an active member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church, enjoyed embroidering, gardening and traveling.
Victoria Flores Diaz came from a loving family in Mexico. She is preceded by her parents and her loving husband, Jesus M. Diaz, her son Jesse M. Diaz, her grandsons Adrian Orozco and Fabian Diaz, and son-in-law Juan Sanchez; her 4 brothers Benito, Herculano, Ramon, Ruben and sisters Zoila, Kina, and Emedelia. She is survived by her children, Guadalupe Diaz – Los Angeles, Cirina D. Sanchez – McFarland, Rosamaria Diaz Orozco - Wasco, Gabriel Diaz and wife Yolanda – Wasco and by 17 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren and many other loving family members.
Church services were held at the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Wasco, California on Monday, May 16, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. for Victoria Flores Diaz. Victoria Flores Diaz rests in peace at the Wasco Memorial Cemetery.
