SAVANNAH - Carl Nute Stanfill, 83, brickmason, died of pneumonia Tuesday at Hardin County General Hospital. Services will be at 1 p.m. today at Crump Pentecostal Church, where he attended, with burial in Adamsville Cemetery. Shackelford Funeral Home has charge.
He was a World War II Navy veteran, and a member of the American Legion and the brickmason union. Mr. Stanfill, the husband of Millinea Scott Stanfill, also leaves three sons, Billy Stanfill of Huntsville, Ala., and Roy Stanfill and Hugh Stanfill, both of Savannah; three sisters, Hazel Barlow of Adamsville, and Helen Phillips and Clarise Jones, both of Savannah; a brother, Charles E. Stanfill of Adamsville, nine grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and a stepgrandchild.
