PERRY - Mary T. Acres, 98, lovingly known by her family as "MeMama", passed away on Wednesday, February 11, 2009, at Perry Hospital. Funeral Services will be held at 2P.M. on Friday, February 13, 2009 at Perry Presbyterian Church. Interment will follow in Perry Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at 1:00 P.M. until the time of the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to Perry Presbyterian Church Building Fund. -Mrs. Acres was born in Scott County, TN to the late William and Rachel King Terry. She was a member of Perry Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Acres was the former owner of Lake Joy Skating Rink. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alton Acres. -Her memory will forever be treasured by her daughter Fronzie Skinner (Butch) of Perry; four grandchildren, Amy Beamon (Marty), Christy Thomas (Dwain), Eric Skinner, Nathan Skinner (Tara); and three great-grandchildren, Landon Beamon, Cassidy Beamon, and Cade Thomas. -Friends are invited to sign the online guestbook at watsonhunt.com.
