Edna Faye Roberts, strong and loving rock of her family, died Wednesday, February 11, 2009 at the age of 86 years. She was born to Elmer and Hattie (Neel) Brumley, May 23, 1922 in Grapeland, TX.

Edna grew up in Choctaw, OK. She married Leo Loy Roberts in 1938 and shared 51 years until his death in 1989.

Edna was a devoted sister, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. She is survived by 3 sons, Loy Roberts and wife Carolyn of Edmond, Larry Roberts and wife Janna of OKC and Mike Roberts of OKC, as well as 12 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great grandchildren and a sister, Joy Peavler and husband Jim.

Edna is predeceased by her parents, her brother, Edward Brumley, her husband and her daughter, Judy Dunn.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to: The Alzheimer's Assoc., 3555 NW 58 St., OKC 73112.

Services will be Saturday, February 14, at Vondel L. Smith & Son Mortuary at South Lakes. Burial will follow at Arlington Memory Gardens.
