She was preceded in death by her parents; husband M.E. (Red Beauchamp); daughter Carolyn Jo Beauchamp; and brother N.J. (Sonny) Hassell.
Lurlene is survived by daughters Sherlyn Beauchamp of Lake Jackson Texas, Shar Hodges & husband, Steve of Hollister; son Douglas Beauchamp of Phoenix, Arizona; and two granddaughters McKensie Hodges and Christian Beauchamp.
Lurlene taught elementary school in Texas and also at Hollister, Missouri. She later became postmaster at Ridgedale, Missouri. She was a member of Lakeland Baptist Church. Lurlene loved reading, working crossword puzzles and gardening, but her true passion was her family and friends.
She will be remembered best by her family for her kind heart and eternal strength. She was a loving mother, grandmother and friend who will be deeply missed.
The family invites you to share in the remembrance of their loved one on February 4, 2016 at Greenlawn Funeral Home Branson. Visitation will start at 10:00 with the services beginning at 11:00 a.m. Graveside services will follow at Lakeland Baptist Cemetery in Omaha, Arkansas.
