NYG&BR 1918 v. 49, pp. 34,379.

Her name is spelled Conklyn in one old Angevine family bible and in the Angevine Genealogy (1977) by Clyde V. Angevine, p.62, though Conklin in other family trees.
After Sarah Conklin(g) Angevine's death, Peter Angevine married his cousin Susannah Purdy, who died soon after and was buried in her parents' plot at Old Vancourtlandt Cemetery, Peekskill, also called Old St. Peters.
In 1831, he moved to Royalton, in Niagara County, and in 1835 moved on to Michigan.

The Wood Street Cemetery was originally the Wood family cemetery (Findagrave.com) or Kirkum Burial plot (Clyde Angevine, p.62), or a small community cemetery known by several names. Most of the graves had deteriorated through neglect and vandalism by the time the few readable grave markers were transcribed in the late 19th century, and in the early 20th century the entire cemetery was destroyed by developers though nothing was ever built upon the exact site, which was the west side of Wood St. and south side of Lainos Place. The house at 185 Wood St. was built just south of the cemetery in 1940 and the owners at that time told that the cemetery was on the north side of the property and never to dig there.

In 1810, Peter & Sarah lived at Phillips twp, Dutchess Co, NY (Phillipstown, now Putnam Valley) neighbors of Travis Titus, Abraham Smith (father of Saxton Smith), Nehemiah & James Tompkins, Jeremiah & Amos Conklin (brother of Timothy Conklin V, said to have married Lydia Allen), and Nathan Lane. The 1820 and 1830 censuses show most of the same Conklin, Smith, Tompkins, Knapp and other families were still neighbors of the Angevines.

On Jan. 1, 1822, a year before Sarah Angevine's death, Allan B. Secor of Phillips Twp sold tracts of land to Peter Angevine for $4,340.00, near Abraham Smith, Nathan Lane and others (Putnam Co. Deed Book A, pp.453-56). Allen Blair Secor (1791-1826), father of Saxton Secor (1821-1891), was a great-grandson of Jacques Sicard who came from La Rochelle, France to New Rochelle, N.Y. with the Angevines. In 1829, Peter and Sarah Angevine's son, 25-year-old George L. Angevine, purchased a tract of land adjoining his father's from the estate of Nathan Lane for $1,816.20, witnessed by Abraham Smith (Putnam Co. Deed Book E, pp.369-72). The 1830 census shows George L. next door to his father Peter Angevine.
This area was in the vicinity of Secor Lake and Secor Road and Wood Street in what became Putnam Valley, Putnam County.

Amos Conklin, who could be an older brother or uncle of Sarah, was born 1 March (May?) 1765, a son of Timothy Conklin IV, the son of Timothy Conklin (b.25 Oct.1722) and wife Mary Oakley or Tompkins.

A family tree shows Sarah Conklin Angevine as the daughter of Timothy Conklin V and wife Lydia Allen, daughter of John Allen and Margaret (Soule) Allen, sources not stated. She had a brother and uncle Amos. Timothy Conklin's wife was Elizabeth, but whether she was Elizabeth Lydia Allen is not certain.
Peter Angevine was a second cousin of Phebe Angevine Varian who was a sister-in-law of U.S. Vice President Daniel D. Tompkins. Timothy Conklin V, whose mother Mary Tompkins was a fourth cousin of Vice President Daniel D. Tompkins.

If Sarah Conklin's father was a son of Jacob Conklin and Hester Barheyt, Sarah may have been a great-granddaughter of John Barheyt and Judith Guion. Judith was a granddaughter of Abraham Guion and Francoise Amauld or Arnauld and a first cousin of Deborah Guion who married Peter Angevine's great-grandfather Pierre Angevine as his first wife (see A French Huguenot Legacy, by Debra Guiou Stufflebean).

Peter Angevine's second wife was the widow of the son of Isaac Purdy Jr. and Susannah Angevine, and grandson of Eli Angevine and Charity (Bonet) Purdy; great-grandson of Peter's own great-grandparents, Pierre Angevine and Marguerite deBonrepos.
