Harlan F. NICKELL, 63, Hobart, died Wednesday in Rochester. He was born in Peoria, Ill., to James and Nancy WILLIAMS NICKELL. He was a former employee of Stendahl and Sons and a resident of Hobart for 38 years. He was a member of the Moose Lodge, Legion of Moose and the Laborers and Hod Carriers Union.
Surviving with the wife, Annie [NICKELL], are two daughters, Mrs. Thomas (Karen) SEARS and Mrs. Thomas (Linda) COATES, both of Hobart; four grandchildren, Pamela, Scott, Brian and Amanda; two sisters, Mrs. Edward (Mary) BUNNELL, Lake Station, and Mrs. Dan (Wilma) KOEHLER, Green Bay, Wis., and nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday in the Rees Funeral Home, Hobart, with the Rev. Gerald WOLWORTH officiating. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery, Valparaiso. Friends may call from 2-9 p.m. today.
