Services for Mrs. Edrie Edwards Crain Adair, age 94, of Haile, LA will be 2:00 PM, February 17, 2003 at Haile Baptist Church with the Rev. Malcolm Richard and Rev. David Martin officiating. Burial will be in Liberty Cemetery at Linville under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Farmerville.

Mrs. Adair died Friday, February 14, 2003 in Farmerville, LA. She was a member of Haile Baptist Church and learned to play the piano and organ at an early age and played for her church most of her life.

Edrie was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Dora Edwards; husband, Ralph S. Crain; husband, Henry F. Adair; daughter, Baby Crain; daughter, Albatine Crain Mitchell; granddaughter, Lynn Crain Wagoner and daughter-in-law, Lee Crain.

Survivors include her son, Joe R. Crain of Haile, LA; daughter, Cherry Crain Maestas of Haile, LA; step-daughter, Emmaline Adair Foster and husband Gary of Glendale, AZ; niece, Carol Harrell and husband Ken of Haile, LA; niece, DeWanna Richard of Baton Rouge, LA; nephew, Frank Miller Jordan and wife Carolyn of Baker, LA; 10 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; 15 great-great-grandchildren; and many cousins, grandnephews and nieces.

Pallbearers will include Tommy Waggoner, Laymon Godwin, Wendall Manning, Gary Harrell, Bobby Reppond, and Jimmy Dean

Honorary Pallbearers will include Frank Miller Jordan and Ken Harrell.

Memorials can be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children, 3100 Sanford Ave., Shreveport, LA 71103.

Visitation will be Sunday, February 16, 2003 from 5 until 8 PM at Kilpatrick Funeral Home in Farmerville, LA.
