Naomi (McMillen) Brutto, 93, of Kingwood, West Virginia, died on Wednesday, March 12, 2008.

Naomi was born November 2, 1914 in Rowlesburg, a daughter of the late James Nimrod and Lula Irene (Fretwell) McMillen. Naomi graduated from Rowlesburg High School and then from Fairmont State College. She taught first grade in Manheim Schools until she retired from West Virginia.

Her and her husband Bunny then went to Walkersville, MD, where she was a first grade teacher. Naomi and Bunny returned to West Virginia where she then became a substitute teacher for the Preston County Board of Education. She touched many children in her life.

She is survived by one brother and spouse, James and Jenny McMillen of Summerfield, FL; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Philip 'Bunny' Brutto on January 14, 2002; two brothers, Thomas Franklin McMillen, Richard McMillen; one sister, Virginia McMillen, three sisters-in-law, Mary (Myers) McMillen, Lilith (Carrico) McMillen, Mary (Wiles) McMillen.

Family and friends may call at the Rotruck-Lobb Funeral Home-Kingwood Chapel, 295 South Price Street, on Sunday, March 16, 2008 from 6-8pm. Funeral services will be conducted in the funeral home chapel on Monday, March 17, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Paul Mateer officiating.

Entombment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens Mausoleum in Kingwood.
