Amanda Elizabeth Price, 97, daughter of John and Sally Wolfe Dutton, was born April 12, 1893, at Houston, Missouri. and departed this life August 27, 1990, at the Texas County Health Care Center, Licking, Missouri making her age at time of death 97 years, 4 months and 15 days.
Amanda was united in marriage to Frank H. Price April 30, 1913, and to this union three children were born, Ray, Spanaway, Washington; Harold, Licking, Missouri and Ruth Shelton Success, Missouri.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank, one Grandson Kenneth Price One great Grandson, David Price, her parents, 3 sisters and 6 brothers.
Those who survive her passing are her children, Ray, Harold, Ruth, 5 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.
She accepted the Lord as her Savior at an early age and was a member of the Union Freewill Baptist Church, where she remained faithful as long as her health permitted.
She was a lover of the great outdoors, especially of flowers and was always ready to offer a helping hand to others or speak a word of encouragement.
She will be greatly missed by family and a host of friends.
Services were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, August 29th at the Union Freewill Baptist Church with Rev. Gene Postlewaite and David Brawley officiating. Burial was in the Liberty Cemetery under the directions of Evans Funeral Home
