Lester J. Englehart, 89, of Medina, passed away Friday, Sept. 28, 2007.
Mr. Englehart enjoyed his family and loved to watch TV and movies, the Cleveland Indians and Browns games. He also was a fabulous ballroom dancer and roller skater in his early years. He enjoyed traveling and when at home looked forward to his ability to use the computer. He was proud to be a veteran of the Army Air Corps, serving in World War II.
Mr. Englehart is survived by his loving wife, Marie (nee Hackbarth); son, Richard (Connie) Englehart; daughter, Donna Marie (John) Walter; special grandchildren, Richard (Hilary) Englehart II, Todd (Danica) Englehart, Noelle (Dave), Carolle (Steven) and John J. Walter; and great-grandson, Seth Englehart.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Elsie (nee Banford), and brother, Elmer "Roy" Englehart.
Service: noon Wednesday at Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 3477 Medina Road (state Route 18 and River Styx Road), Medina. The Rev. Carson Hall will officiate.
Military honor burial: Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, Rittman, immediately following the service.
