“Troopers said a Denver couple, Thomas Sanders, 68, and Daisy Lee Sanders, 63, were killed when the westbound car they were in crossed the center line on Interstate 70 15 miles east of Fremont Junction in Emery County and struck the rear of an eastbound semi-truck.
“The patrol said the driver of the truck, John R. Sutton, 53, Aurora, Colo., and a passenger in the truck were unhurt.
“It was not known which of the Sanders was driving the car, troopers said. The accident happened at about 9:30 a.m. Friday.”
