Mr. Anderson was born July 22, 1925 in Annapolis, to the late Amos and Jeanette Anderson and graduated from Bates High School in 1943.
In January 1944, he joined the Navy and was honorably discharged in 1946. He was employed at the U.S. Naval Academy and served the Federal government for 42 years. He was an active member of Asbury Broadneck UMC and the Masonic Temple #46. He was an avid sports fan, and especially enjoyed playing and watching baseball and golf until his illness.
Survivors include his wife, Evelyn Anderson; three sons, James Anderson, Jr ., Steven Anderson, and Gregory Anderson; one daughter, Phyllis Davis; six grandchildren; six great-children; and host of other relatives.
