Survivors include three sons, James R. Coons, Jerry (Judy) Coons and Kenneth Coons; two daughters, Janice Allen and Beverly (Trevor) Medeiros; a brother, Forrest (Lucille) Perkinson; 14 grandchildren; and 32 great-grandchildren.
Services were Monday at Heady Radcliffe Funeral Home, with Pastor Darrell Wilson officiating. Burial took place in Bedford Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Kenneth Coons, Bobby Horine, Steve Perkinson, Glen Perkinson, Scotty Coons, Paul Riley, Mike Vest and Patrick Vest.
