Josephine M. Butkovich, 69, of Warren, died Tuesday, December 20, 2005 of complications from Diabetes at St. John Macomb Hospital in Warren.
Josephine was born in 1936 in Detroit to William and Josephine Watt.

Some of her favorite pastimes were cooking, talking on the phone to her daughter and sister, gardening and taking care of her family.
She loved to have family around her. If advice or help was needed, Josephine was always happy to help, even with home improvement projects.

She loved the flowers growing in her garden, but there was always a competition with her sister, Shirley, to see who could grow the first red tomato each year.

Josephine loved to care for her grandchildren and took pride in everything they did.

Josephine is survived by her husband Frank; children Frank (Susan), Linda (Greg) Sill, David (Pamela) and Ron (Kimberly); grandchildren Katelyn, Evan, Kelsey, Frank, Donovan, Sara, Andrew and Katherine; and sister Shirely Modjeski.

She is preceded in death by her parents William and Josephine Watt and brother Robert Watt.
