Frank Afinowicz, 81, whose home was near Harrah, died last Friday in Mercy hospital, Okla- homa City. Rosary was at 7:30 p.m. Sunday at St. Teresa's church in Harrah. Mass was at 10 a.m. Monday at the same church and burial was in the Catholic cemetery at Harrah. Wilson Funeral Home, Harrah, was in charge. Mr. Afinowicz was born in Poland Nov. 15, 1874, and came to the United States when he was 18 years old, and had lived on route two, Harrah, for 49 years. He was a member of the Holy Name society and the Catholic church at Harrah. Survivors are one son, Johnny, Oklahoma City, four daughters, Mrs. Rosie Begarek, Oklahoma City; Mrs. Sofia Zahara of Harrah; Mrs. Victoria Miller of Reader, W. Va.; and Mrs. Mary Anna Fortelney of Rivera, Calif.; also 18 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
