78, died Saturday, Feb. 17, 2001, in Helen Porter Nursing Home in Middlebury. He was born Jan. 1, 1923, in South Starksboro, the son of Philip and Ursula (Stokes) Hallock.
Nelson was known for his music. He loved to play for groups going around to nursing homes and entertaining people with his music. He is survived by two sisters, Beatrice Knight
and Freda Beane, both of Huntington; two brothers, Clarence Hallock of Lincoln, and Clinton Hallock of Essex Junction; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. in the Brown-McClay Funeral Home in Bristol. Interment will be in Morgan Cemetery in East Monkton. There will be no calling hours.
