Son of John R. Patrick and Laura J. (Aldrich) Patrick. Husband of Mamie (or Matie?) T. Myers.

Named Penfield Patrick on his birth certificate, he was often referred to as D. Penfield or Dee Penfield. The letter D. may have been added or used as a kind of namesake, after his grandfather, Daniel Penfield Aldrich.

---------------------------------
In a letter dated 31, May, 1965, [F.] Anita (Adams) Serantin states in her letter to Mildred (Colwell) Moore: "Did you know Penn Patrick passed away a week ago yesterday and was buried a week ago tomorrow. Carroll and I attended the funeral. It was a large one for a man who has got out so little for so long. The mason's had charge of it and the Eastern Star put on a lunch in their hall for us. Now I think that just your father and I are the only ones from that generation of Aldrich decendents." "....There are some decendents from Aunt Mary Sible's family left, but I don't know any of them, and Meril and Lucille don't know any more about them than I do...."

[Anita was the Granddaughter of Hannah (Aldrich) Clark, sister of Daniel Penfield Aldrich.
Mildred was the great-granddaughter of Leonard Lorenzo Aldrich, brother to Daniel Penfield Aldrich.]
