Mrs. Effie Lauana Austin, 68, died at her home 6:25pm last evening following an illness of two and a half years. She has been a Springfield resident since 1899.
Her husband, Albert Austin survives, along with one sister, Irma Spriggs of New York City.
Funeral services will be held at Alma Lomeyer Chapel 2pm tomorrow afternoon, conducted by Rev. Sears Riepma, pastor of Christ Episcopal Church.
Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery.
