The funeral service was at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Hortense Wesleyan Church with the Rev. Larry Segar officiating. Burial followed in Satilla Cemetery in Hortense.
Pallbearers were Jim Brown, Dennis Crews, Donald Crews, Mitchell Crews, James Lee and John Freeman.
Music was by David Hornbeck.

Surviving are his wife, Connie Bryan Miller of Hortense; two daughters, Maureen McCord of Hortense and Melinda McKim of Macon; two sons, William Bryan Miller (wife Rita) of Hortense and Douglas Miller (wife Jennifer) of Dallas; one sister, Doris Castle of Shenandoah, IA; and one grandchild, three great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
A native of Farragut, IA, Mr. Miller was a farmer and a member of the Hortense Wesleyan Church. He was the son of the late William James Miller and Elva Cox Miller.
