Doris May Dana 73, Kemmerer, died Nov 25, 1997 at Saint John's Hospital in Jackson.
Funeral services were held Nov 29 in the Kemmerer LDS Stake center in Kemmerer. Interment Thayne City Cemetery.
She was born Dec 27, 1923 in Pegram ID to Milford M. and Alta Holmes Mruphy. In 1945 she married Dale H. Dana in Randolph UT and their marriage was solemnized in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple in 1955.
Doris was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. In 1987 she served a LDS mission to the San Diego, California Mission. She loved music and was a great musician. She loved her family very dearly. She also loved spending time at the senior citizens in Kemmerer and she loved to read and write poetry.
She is survived by son, Garth "Dee" Dana of Kemmerer; daughter, Brenda Lee Robinson of Afton; brother Everett Murphy of Wendover UT; sisters Dorothy P of Soda Springs, ID, Leaita Wadsworth of Wendover UT, Nadine Jensen of Grover WY Syliva Nelson of Las Vegas, Janice Williams of West Valley UT; four grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, dale H. Dana, three brothers and one sister and her parents.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the senior citizens center in Kemmerer WY.
