Hello Christine. Could you do me a favor, and add the death location for this person? I learned from page 253 of the Autry book, Harriet Hardin died in Union Springs, Bullock, Alabama. I've been trying for years to figure out who this person IS, buried in my family's Lowther lot, and every shred of info might help. Thanks Christine, and happy new year! Rich Dohm.

More to add, if you would. This per the revised Autry book, a little info on the spouse of this person: Elder Martin B. Hardin was the youngest of seven children. He was born in Florida, Sep. 23, 1836. The family moved to Columbus, Ga., about 1841. He was ordained Feb 1859. He succeeded Dr. W. Williams to the pastorate of Auburn church, Ala. [After Harriet's death in 1866,] Martin Hardin married secondly Josephine Law Nov. 26, 1867 in Muscogee Co., Ga. He came from Auburn to Waco early in 1869, and was pastor at Waco that year. He remained in Texas two years; was corresponding secretary of the Bible and Colportage Board, and assisted in the organization of the General Association. In July 1871 he returned to Georgia, and accepted the pastorate of the church at LaGrange, where he continued till he died.
Thanks Christine. Rich Dohm.
