Shirley J. Roach, 68, of Marco, passed away at 10:22 p.m. Friday, Feb. 6, 2009 at Greene County General Hospital in Linton. She was born in Lyons on January 8, 1941 to Charles Sparks and Nellie Cramer Sparks.
Shirley loved most to cook and take care of her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents; also two brothers; Charles and Vernon Sparks, and one sister, Virginia Charlton.
Survivors include her husband, Kenneth Roach of Linton; one son, Joshua Roach and wife Shasta of Bloomfield; two daughters, Dawn Doyle and husband Dave, Shawn Flick and husband Karry, all of Marco; one sister, Lois Moffat of Marco; 11 grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Newkirk's Funeral Home with Rev. Don Reed officiating. Burial in the Marco Cemetery.
