Alvin Eugene Caughorn, age 69, of Knoxville passed away on Friday April 20, 2018, at his home. He was of the Baptist faith. Preceded in death by parents, Gladys and Roy; sister, Jo Ann; and brothers, Charles and Robert.
He is survived by his soulmate of 50 years Linda; son and daughter-in-law, Alvin and Sandra; daughter, Joyce; grandchildren: Ashley, Josh, Brandon, Adam, Cameron, Keaton, Whitney, Kayla; great-grandchildren, Laila, Aamir, Mason, and Jaylen; brother, Michael; sisters and brothers-in-law, Jackie and Steve, Janie and Larry, Pat and Carl, Shirley and Donnie, and Brenda; and best friends Buddy Burlson and Teddy Bryant.
The family and friends will meet at Seven Islands Cemetery on Thursday April 26, 2018, for a 2:00 pm graveside service. Rev. M. Frank Sellars officiating.
