David "Dave" Ward Arbuckle 73, of Indianapolis, passed away February 6, 2009. Dave was born July 30, 1935 in Indianpalis to Joseph H. and Frances Lee (Dunkin) Arbuckle who preceded him in death along with one brother, Thomas M. Arbuckle.

He was a U.S. Navy veteran serving in the Korean War as a Radioman 2nd Class. He attended Indiana University. A graduate of the Indiana College of Mortuary Science, he most recently was a funeral director for several Indianapolis funeral homes.

He was a member of the Marion County Funeral Directors Association, American Legion Post #276, and VFW Post # 5626, Beech Grove, Indiana.

Survivors include his former wife, Janet L. Reeve Arbuckle; daughters, Kelly S. (Thomas) Willeford and Katherine (Kim) Kimberly Arbuckle; sister, Janet B. Gallagher; four grandchildren, Molly, Mitchell, Ethan, and Lucas Willeford.
