BRILEY – RUTH MAXINE, 81, went to her Heavenly Father on Wednesday, February 4, 2009. Raised in Tulsa, she graduated from Central High in 1945. She worked for J.C. Penney Company for several years and then went to work for Douglas Aircraft Co. in February, 1952. She retired from McDonnell-Douglas Aircraft in 1994 after 42 years of dedicated service. She was a member of the Catoosa Church of Christ.
Born August 20, 1927 to the late Thomas Everette and Ruth Lorraine (Henderson) Caldwell in Tulsa, OK, she was the fourth of 5 children. She was preceded in death by 3 brothers and 1 sister. Those that survive and have many cherished memories are:son, Jerry Briley and wife Janet of Broken Arrow, OK; 3 grandchildren: Jarrod Briley, Jill (Briley) Amos and husband Russell and Jeff Briley; 2 great-grandchildren: Katelyn Briley and Ethan Briley; several nieces and nephews and numerous friends.
