Last Friday morning the following party of old friends left Crosbyton to attend the funeral of Hon. C. R. Ramseur; County Judge Pink L. Parrish, Sheriff C.E. Roy, County Clerk, Will F. Ezell, Hon. Lloyd A. Wicks, P.E. White, Shad Green and others. The funeral was conducted by Rev. Murray, at the Emma cemetery at 4:30 p.m.
There were a large concource of sorrowing friends from all parts of the county and many high tributes were paid the deceased by Rev. Murray in his discourse. Mr. Ramseur leaves a large family, all of whom have the heartfelt sympathy of the entire county. Mr. Ramseur was a good man, a good official, and we are all affected by the loss of so good a man from among us.
Mr. Ramseur was 67 years of age.
