Austin Aytes 69, died Saturday in Tahlequah City Hospital.
Services will be held Monday at 4 p.m. in Reed-Corley Funeral Chapel with Rev. Jay Warren Davis officating.
Burial will be in Park Hill Cementery. Pallbearers will be Charles Ross, Bob Wilson, Loys Trammel, Ish Knight, Dan Martin and Leon Carter.
Born March 31, 1908 in Cookeville, Tennessee, Aytes was a farmer and was employed at Northeasstern State Universty 22 years, He retires in 1973 and was a member if Church of Christ.
Survivors include his wife, Maudie of the home, a daughter, Betty Wilson of Valley Center, Kansas,; two sons, Billy of Valparaiso, Indiana and Lawerence of Kenai, Alaska; two brothers, John of Tahlequah, and Charley of Blackwell; three sisters, Mrs. Emaline Steers and Gladys Day of Blackwell, and Lydia Rector of Nardin; 12 grandchildren and a great grandchild.
