Orderville Utah-Funeral services for Edward Lamb. 78, pioneer of Orderville and life long stockman of Southern Utah and the Arizona strip, who died January 14 at his home in Orderville of pneumonia, were held in the L.D.S friday a 2 p.m. A son of Osmer and Ruby Fillmore, he was born in Payson, Utah. February 26, 1861. At the age of 23 months old his mother died and he was raised by Mrs. Hannah Hoyt. They moved into Utah's Dixie for a few years and them to Orderville in 1876, where he had resided since. As a young man he acted as foreman of the VT cattle herd. He later went into stock raising business. He was married to Rose Annah Stolworthy December 12, 1879 in St. George, Utah. Surviving our his widow, seven sons, Edward T, Osmer, Earl, Merrill and Roland Lamb of Orderville. Hyrum Lamb of Pinco Nevada, and William Lamb of Kanab. Three daughters, Mrs Louis Covington, and Mrs. Matilda Blackburn of Orderville and Mrs. Rose Savage of Springville Utah. And one brother Andrew of Mt. Carmel, Utah. Burial was in the Oderville Cemetery.
