Martha Ann Bloxham Treasure, 86, early pioneer of the Rigby area, died Wednesday morning here following a lingering illness.

Martha was born May 5, 1870, in Kaysville, Utah. The daughter of Isaac Bloxham and Ann Barnes Bloxham. The family lived in Kaysville untill she was sixteen years old, when they moved to Marsh Valley. Here she met John Treasure. They were wed on November 13, 1889 in Malad.

The couple moved to the Snake River Valley in 1904. They made a home in Ucon where he began farming. Later they moved to the Garfield area where they farmed until his death on November 20, 1933.

Martha then moved into Rigby, where she has resided since.

Survivers include sons and daughters, Mary Parrish, Minnie Lee, Lue Treasure, Don Treasure all of Rigby, and Fred Treasure of Salmon; brothers, Richard Bloxham and Horace Bloxham of Downey; nineteen grandchildren; forty great grandchildren. Three daughters proceeded her in death.
