Another of our old pioneers was summoned t the beyond when Mrs. Gottlieb Mollert passed away at the home of her son Charles Bartsh on Friday evening at the advanced age of 90 years 4 months and 21 days. The deceased had been in this vicinity for the past forty years and was in good health until four years ago when she became quite feeble and since then had made her home with her son Charles. She is survived by four children, Cas Bartsh and Herman Mollert of Elba and Mrs Ida Schuchard of Napoleon, North Dakota, and Mrs. Caroline Loppnow of Elba. Funeral services were held Monday afternoon from the Lutheran church of which the deceased was a faithful member since teh church was organized here. Six grandson acted as pallbearers Irvin and Fred Loppnow, Herbert and Emil Mollert and Herbert and Albert Bartsh. The remains were laid to rest in the family lot of the Valley Home cemetery... (Mr. and Mrs. Henry Mollert and daughter and husband from St. Peter attended the funeral here on Monday of the late Grandma Mollert...Mr. and Mrs. George Schuchard from Napoleon ND arrived here on Sunday to attend the funeral of her mother, the late Mrs. Gottleib Mollert)
