She worked as a restaurant cook for a number of years, and was a member of the New Bethel Church and the VFW No. 1114 Auxiliary.
Her husband and two daughters preceeded her in death. She was survived by four sons, nine grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. Services were held at Pierre Funeral Home, with burial in Rose Hill Cemetery.
