Arlene Gunning
Mrs, Arlene Gunning, 60, 1821 S. Buckeye, died at her home at 12:15 p.rn, Friday. She had been in ill health but death was unexpected. She was born in Kokomo, Sept. 3, 1900, the daughter of Charles and Irene (Dunning) McCoy. She had lived in this vicinity all her life. In 1917 she was married to Lea Gunning and he died in 1947. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Paul (Norma) Hooker, and Mrs. John (Mary Kathryn) Beaver, both of Kokomo, and Mrs. Jack (Joyce) Duncan, Columbus, Ohio, one son, Leo Gunning, Las Vegas, Nev., 13 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, one sister, Mrs. Lester (Mildred) Harlow, Kokomo, and two brothers, Lloyd McCoy, Indianapolis, and Russell McCoy, Wood River, III. Services will be at 10;30a.m. Monday in Beamer Methodist Church of which she was a member. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call at Ellers Funeral Chapel after noon Sunday. The body will be at the church for one hour preceding the services.
