Lawrence T. Reagan, 69, a native of Anderson county, died suddenly about 6:30 p.m. Thursday while on a fishing trip at Clear Lake near the Trinity River. Funeral services were planned for 5 p.m. Friday at the home west of Palestine on Highway 43, with Rev. J. Carroll Cooper, pastor of the Grace Methodist church officiating. Burial was to be in New Addition cemetery. Pallbearers: Joe D. Tonahill, Joe N. Davis, Harold Dietz, Gordon Broyles, J.P. Emmons, Earl Tomkins, M. Boyd, J.H. Harper, George E. Schmidt. Survivors are his wife (Maude Garner Reagan); a daughter, Mrs. W.R. (Lorene) Emmons; brother, John Reagan, Palestine; and sister, Mrs. Lucy Reagan Rains, Waco.

Lawrence Taylor Reagan, age 69, of Rt. 5, Palestine, Texas died May 18, 1939 in Oakwood, Leon County, Texas. He was born on Jan. 3, 1870 in Texas to Dave Caswell Reagan Sr. and Mary Jane Rose Reagan. Mr. Reagan was survived by his wife, Maude Garner Reagan. His occupation was farming.
