Marion Lee Pugh, 80 of Charles City went to be with her Lord and Savior on December 24, 2008. She was married for 52 years to Walter Odell Pugh (deceased) and is survived by her son Ronnie Pugh, wife Susan, daughters Carolyn Lewis, husband Tom, Sharon Hicks, husband Ken, Diane Sams, husband Bob, Judy Adkins, Candi Briggs and a loving son at heart Earl Kirby, wife Nadine, thirteen grandchildren and twenty-five great grandchildren. She was a kind and gentle person who loved going to church and just being with family and friends. Her remains rest at Nelsen Funeral Home. The family will be receiving visitors from 2:00 to 4:00pm and 6:00 to 8:00pm Saturday, December 27and Sunday December 28, at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Avenue, Richmond. Funeral services will be held Monday, December 29, 2008, 11:00 am at Mount Pleasant Baptist Church, 19300 The Glebe Lane, Charles City, VA 23030. Interment to follow in Washington Memorial Park, Sandston.
