Mary Kathryn Barbee, age 84, Clinton, died Thursday, February 5, 2009 at Golden Valley Memorial Hospital, Clinton. Funeral services will be Saturday, February 7, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Clinton with burial in Englewood Cemetery, Clinton. The family will receive friends Friday, February 6, 2009 from 6:00-7:30 p.m. at Vansant-Mills Chapel. Kathryn was born July 15, 1924 in Clinton. She graduated from Clinton High School in 1942. On August 31, 1946, she married Don Barbee. She was a loyal employee of Lowe Oil Company for over twenty years.
She was preceded in death by her parents Virgil and Lucille Feaster, and her husband Don Barbee.
She is survived by three daughters; Anne Tanner and husband Gene, Clinton, Lynn Helm, Clinton, and Carol Panek and husband John, Warrensburg, Missouri; one sister Cody Jacques, Amarillo, Texas, nine grandchildren, Jennifer Call and husband Doug, Corey Owen and wife Jackie, Michele Bramell and husband B.J., Marc Helm, Nicholas Panek, Matt Helm, Katelyn Panek, Jamie Tanner, and Lance Tanner and two great grandsons, Brett Owen and Cohen Bramell, as well as a number of nieces and nephews.
