Funeral services were held Monday afternoon for Lester Anderson, age 14 years, who died at Salt Lake after an operation for appendicitis. Bishop H.J. Kotter was in charge. Mrs. Violet Zabriskie, Jetta Marquardson, Alvin Bell and H.J. Kotter sang three quartets and Jetta Marquardson and Violet Zabriskie sang a vocal duet. The speakers were Patriarch J.I. Jensen and Bishop H.J. Kotter. Invocation was offered by A.O. Engar, benediction by James Sorenson. Interment was in the city cemetery. He is survived by his father J.P. Anderson , and the following brothers and sister Aaron and Martin of Delta, Floyd and Clayton of Richfield, Leonard of Elsinore and Geneva Anderton of Marysvale.

Funeral services were held at Elsinore Monday of last week for Lester Anderson. Lester was a sixth grad student. His classmates were dismissed from school in the afternoon to attend the funeral services. Beautiful floral offerings were contributed by each of the sixth grade students.
