Leah Kathleen Fisher Hatch Staley, age 71, passed away February 8, 1984, at her home in Salt Lake City.
Born February 12, 1912, in Salt Lake City, to Lester Peirce and Lucy Dexter Fisher. Married Ford B. Hatch, December 13, 1929, in Las Vegas, Nevada. He Died June 14, 1942. Married E. Ray Staley, July 19, 1947 in Evanston, Wyoming. She was a past president of the Salt Lake Woolgrowers Auxiliary Organization. Member of the LDS Church, active in genealogical research.
Survivors: husband, Salt Lake City; sons and daughters: Mrs. Blaine T. (Barbara) Hudson, Mrs. DeLaun (Garry) Tischner, both of Alpine; Mrs. Yvonne Thomas, Lester DeVar Hatch, Kenneth Staley, Lynn Staley, all of Salt Lake City; Stepson and stepdaughter, Harold Hintze, El Paso, Texas, Ann Lambertson, Helper, Utah; 34 grandchildren; 38 greatgrandchildren; brothers and sisters; L.Derwin, Robert D., John B., and Dale E. Fisher, all of Salt Lake City; Vaughn N. Fisher, Smithfield; Ada L. Collins, serving an LDS mission in Florida; Edith L. Benson Danville, Virginia; Barbara J. Partna, Los Angeles, California. Preceded in death by a son, Vaughn Ray Staley.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, 1 p.m., at the Kenwood 2nd LDS Ward Chapel, 3080 South 1765 East, Salt Lake City, where friends may call from 11:30 a.m. until time of service. Interment, Larkin Sunset Lawn.
