Western Fant, Woodland, Dies
Services were conducted from the Baptist Church at Woodland Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock for Western Fant, well known citizen of the Woodland community, who died Tuesday morning at 5:33 after a long illness. He was 62.
Burial was in the Woodland Cemetery with Masons in charge.
Besides his wife, Mrs. Pauline White Fant, he leaves three sisters, Mrs. B A Hill, Mrs. May Davis and Mrs. Kate Kynard.
Mr. Fant had farmed all of his life until not long ago when failing health forced his to take it easy.
He joined the Baptist church early in life and has been an active church worker.
