Mr. Billy J. Boan, age 66, died Tuesday, January 13, 2009 at his home. Funeral service 2 P.M. January 15, 2009 at Cross Branch Baptist Church with interment in the church cemetery.
Mr. Boan was born August 31, 1942 in Patrick, S.C. a son of the late Lacoste and Daisy Tyner Boan. He was a retired employee of Galey & Lord. Billy was a member of Cross Branch Baptist Church. He was an avid gardner and enjoyed riding his motorcycle. Billy was first married to the late Frances McLain Boan and was also preceded in death by his son Billy J. Boan Jr. He leaves behind his wife Debbie Floyd Boan.
