Heathie Vernise Davis, a homemaker, died Wednesday at an area health care center. She was 84.
A native of Millry, Ala., she was a resident of Leakesville, Miss. She was affiliated with the Pentecostal faith.
Survivors include four sons, Terry Davis, Teddy Davis and Shannon Ray Davis, all of Lucedale, and Paul G. Davis of Houston; three daughters, Peggy Davis of Cleveland, Texas, and Janice Marie Stevens and Linda Faye Brown, both of Lucedale; one brother, Addfus McRae; and one sister, Lucindie Holliman, both of Lucedale; 25 grandchildren; and 41 great-grandchildren.
Visitation is set for 6 to 9 tonight at Freeman Funeral Home in Leakesville, where the service is set for 2 p.m. Friday. Burial will be in Antioch Cemetery in Lucedale. Published Mobile Register 1/21/2006
