Services for Martin Joseph Harrington, prominent Denver attorney, will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Notre Dame Roman Catholic Church, 5100 W. Evans Ave. Private burial will follow at Fort Logan National Cemetery.

Harrington, 65, died Wednesday. He was born Aug 14, 1917, in Denver, and was reared and educated here. He was graduated from Canterbury School in New Milford, Conn,. and Yale University. He served with the Marine Corps in the South Pacific during World War II and received a Purple Heart.

Harrington attended Harvard Law School, University of Colorado Law School and received his LLB degree from the University of Denver Law School. He joined the firm of Bancroft, Blood and Laws and was later associated with the firm of Hodges, Silverstein, Hodges and Harrington.

He is survived by three sons, Martin J. Jr., Paul G., and Timothy G.; a daughter, Nancy Ann Harrington, all of Denver; three sisters, Mary Ann Purcell, Manchester, Vt., Margaret H. Carey and Patricia J. Harrington, both of Denver; and a granddaughter.
