BEFORE Me, the undersigned authority, a Notary Public in and for Ellis County, Texas, on this day personally appeared E. P. Hawkins and R. M. Buie each personally known to me and known to me to be resident, credible citizens of Ellis County, Texas, who being by me first duly sworn, each for himself on his oath deposes and says:
"I was personally and well acquainted with U. V. White and his wife Mary H. White, during their lifetime and also with all the members of their family. They were married on September 2, 1886. The said U. V. White was married once prior to his marriage and no children were born of said marriage. The said Mary H. White was never married but the one time. The following named children only were born to the said U. V. White and Mary H. White, to-wit: Vernon White, a daughter, who is now the wife of F. P. Smith,
Margaret E. White, a daughter who is now the wife of R. M. Buie. The said U. V. White died intestate in Ellis County, Texas, on December 13, 1925. The said Mary H. White died intestate in Tarrant County, Texas, on February 7, 1936. There was no administration of the estates of either U. V. or Mary H. White and no necessity therefor as they owed no debts at the time of their deaths. The two daughters above named Vernon Smith and Margeret E. Buie are the sole surviving heirs of the said U. V. White and wife Mary H. White, both deceased. There were no other child or children left to survive said parties. Signed R. M. Buie and E. P. Hawkins - Filed for Record April 18, 1936 at 8:25 o'clock." - by James Peterson
