Helena H. Steffens was born on Jan. 11, 1896 in Omaha, the daughter of Steve and Mary Gillen Mulligan. She died in Millard Oct. 9 at the age of 89 years, eight months and 28 days.
She is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Jesse (Georgia) Wheeler of Millard; son, Richard D. Steffens of Omaha; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Services were held Saturday, Oct. 12, at 1 p.m. at Kahler-Dolce Mortuary, Papillion, with Rev. Tony Nelson officiating. Interment was in Voss-Mohr Cemetery, Omaha.
