Bernard was the son of Jess and Maggie Duvall Crenshaw. He lived in the Pittsburg County area all his life, except for two years in Germany with the U.S. Army. He worked for Curtis Distributors for 33 years as a route salesman and married Minnie Ketchum on June 29, 1990 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He is survvied by his wife, Minnie; a son, Gary Crenshaw of the home; his mother, Maggie Crenshaw of McAlester; two brothers, Gene Crenshaw of Oklahoma City and Richard Crenshaw of Scipio; three sisters, Patsy Allen of Ft. Smith, Ark., Colene Hollman and Betty Dixon, both of McAlester; three step sons, Neil and Kendall Ketchum, both of McAlester, and Billy Keith Ketchum of Tannehill; 8 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father; his first wife, Pat Crenshaw on April 16, 1986; a daughter, Stephanie Crenshaw; and a brother, Allen Crenshaw. Funeral service was held Saturday, April 25, 1992 at Bishop Chapel of Memories.
