Surviving: husband, Paul L. Hinds; sons, Paul L.Hinds Jr., Timothy H. Hinds, both of Bowie, Maryland; daughter, Mrs. Carolyn Lindsey of Bellefontaine, Ohio; brother, Everette Hildebrand of Knightdale; sisters, Mrs. George W. Norwood of Raleigh, Mrs. Doris Carlton of Ramey, Puerto Rico, Mrs. Beulah Mae Ferrell of Long Beach, NC, Mrs. Rudy Bunn of Rocky Mount, Mrs. R.E. Batton of Lawrenceville, Ga., Mrs. Dale L. Smith of High Point; five grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Raleigh Lions Clinic fo the Blind, 315 Hubert St., Raleigh, N.C. 27603.

Stella had numerous siblings: Beulah Mae, Everett, Myrtle, Luella, Pauline (Polly) , Helen, Doris, Amy, Edith.
