Green Dee Robbins fought in the Civil War and was injured. Sometime after he returned home there was a fire at his cotton gin. He died shortly after fighting this fire either as a result of the fire or as a result of his injuries from the war.

Green Dee served in the CW Confederate Service, in the 15th AR Confederate Army.
