Ogden, Ella K., 82, passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones Saturday, Jan. 27, 2007. Born March 13, 1924 in Hays, Kan., to the late Joseph and Albina Doerfler. She was the first born of 10 children. Ella enjoyed gardening and cooking. She devoted her entire life to caring for her family and friends. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Jack W.; son, Garrett J.; daughter, Cherie Smith; grandson, Gary J. Ogden; granddaughters, Venessa Albert, Erika Willard, Breann Ogden all of Wichita, Cheyenne Ogden of Liberty, Mo.; 8 great-grandchildren. Memorial services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 8, 2007 at The Ark Church, 5501 N. Maize, Maize, Kan.
